Riding Lessons Riding Lessons -  Weekdays $50 per hour, Private $35 per hour, Groups of 2+ riders $30 per hour, per rider, Sibling/Family Discount Riding Lessons -  Weekends and Holidays $60 per hour, Private $45 per hour, Groups of 2+ riders $40 per hour, per rider, Sibling/Family Discount We teach the basics of horsemanship from the ground up. We focus on students learning to be safe and comfortable around the horse as well as on the horse's back. All lessons include brushing, cleaning hooves, tacking up and leading the horse, which are all skills that every rider should have. We love to introduce new students to the trails, once we feel they have had enough time in the ring. We offer lessons April through November, weather permitting. We have a 100 X 200 outdoor riding arena with a sand and clay base footing. Lessons are available Monday through Saturday by appointment, please call for availability. Private lessons are required for all lunge line students until they are able to trot off from the lunge or until the instructor is comfortable with student being in a group. You will be required to pay the private lesson fee if there is not a group available for you to ride in. A discount is offered for siblings/family members taking regular riding lessons. You must be riding in the same group and must be signed up for weekly lessons to be eligible for this discount. One time visitors will not receive the discount. We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. If proper notice is not given you will be billed for the lesson. If you miss multiple lessons in a row your time slot may be given to another student. Cancellations due to weather are at the discretion of WMS.
